The Ungelt area, which the apartment hotel is named after, has been a place to meet for the visitors and citizens of Prague for a millenium. During the mediaeval it served as a center of commerce and customs, where merchants used to pay the tariff, called „ungelt“.
Hotel Ungelt is a residence that today offers unusual accommodation in its six diverse apartments for two to eight persons not many alike can be found in Prague – the distance to the Old Town Square is mere 80 meters. There also is the Old Town City Hall with the Astronomical Clock, the Jewish Ghetto with the Old-New Synagogue, the Municipal House and shopping mall Palladium in walking distance. For instance Gothic suite with balcony was a favorite apartment of famous British novelist Dick Francis. Imperial suite is widely sought after for its spacious terrace and marvelous view of the Týn Church. Excellent choice, suitable even for the most demanding guests, are also the Superiors and De Luxe suites.
Beyond several bedrooms every apartment also has a living room and a basic kitchenette equipped with a microwave, a kettle etc. A commonplace is a satellite TV, highspeed wifi internet, personal safe, telephone and reception ready to fulfill the guests' wishes 24 hours a day.
